The Kosher Guru Returns as Part of Celebrity Judging Panel for this Year’s Fifth Annual Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship
The Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship (DKBBQC) is proud to announce that this year’s fifth annual event will have a return visit from Garbiel Boxer, a.ka. the KOSHER GURU, as he will serve as one of our celebrity judges for this year’s event.
Boxer, who is known as “Kosher Guru” is a leading kosher industry food & restaurant consultant and social media sensation with over 41,700 followers on Instagram and runs one of the largest and fastest organically growing Kosher Foodie Facebook Groups “Kosher Guru’s Kosher Nation”. He is all about bringing anything and everything kosher to the masses in a fun-filled and Kosher way.
Hosting the only kosher foodie & restaurant radio show “The Nosh” with Kosher Guru airing every Thursday evenings at 9:30 P.M. on station 620AM in the NYC area, along with his iTunes & Google Play podcast channel. The Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship is presented to the community by the Men’s Club of Congregation Beth Torah and will be held on Sunday, October 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free; food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The event is conducted under the supervision of Dallas Kosher and the world-renowned Kansas City Barbeque Society. Teams from Texas and beyond will compete for cash and prizes in the Sunnyland Patio Furniture Shopping Center, at the intersection of Spring Valley and Coit roads, and benefits Congregation Beth Torah Men’s Club, Jewish Family Service Dallas (www.jfsdallas.org), and the American Red Cross.
