Lockhart Smokehouse’s Jill Grobowsky Bergus Returns to Celebrity Judging Panel at The Fourth Annual Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship
Jill Grobowsky Bergus, owner of Lockhart Smokehouse, will return to the Celebrity Judging Table at this year’s Fourth Annual Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship. The family-friendly event, offering free admission and free parking, will take place on Sunday, October 28th.
Jill was born into barbecue royalty. She is the granddaughter of legendary Kreuz Market restauranteur Edgar “Papa” Schmidt. After graduating from Austin College, she decided to bring the traditions and flavors of Kreuz Market to the residents of DFW. She and her husband joined Tim McLaughlin to open the first Lockhart Smokehouse (where NO forks and NO sauce are needed!) in the Bishop Arts District. The Plano restaurant followed in 2014 and a third location will soon open near the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Admission and parking are free. Food will be available for purchase.
