Mad Science, a program that delivers hands-on science experiments to children, will be a Kids Zone sponsor at the Fourth Annual Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship. The family-friendly event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 28th. Admission and parking are free; food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Mad Science will be set up in the Kids Zone all day on the 28th, allowing kids to see up close some hands-on experiments and to learn about topics such as energy and fundamental forces. Mad Science of Dallas & Fort Worth is the #1 community resource for hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) enrichment and STAAR preparation in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. With over 150 learning units covering earth sciences, physical sciences and life sciences, K-8 children can experience STEM concepts in a fun-learning environment, delivered by trained, certified and Texas State SB9 approved Mad Science instructors. The Fourth Annual Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship is sponsored by Congregation Beth Torah’s Men’s Club, and will be conducted under the supervision of Dallas Kosher and the world-renowned Kansas City Barbeque Society. Teams from Texas and beyond will compete for cash and prizes in the Sunnyland Patio Furniture Shopping Center, at the intersection of Spring Valley and Coit Roads. Admission and parking are free, food will be available for purchase.
