BBQ — It’s What’s for Dinner!

Want to be a part of it?  It’s easy!  Sign up to be a participating team and bring your best recipes!  Just click on the link below!  The competition will be held on Sunday, October 29th 2017.

Why participate?  To win bragging rights, and a trophy of course! Last year was our first event, with over 1,000 people attending the championship, and the teams had a great time. Some key statistics from the 2016 competition:

Congregation Beth Torah Men’s Club is staging the competition, which will benefit the synagogue and Community Homes for Adults, Inc. (CHAI), which provides housing and support for disabled people in Dallas.

For the first two competitions, teams competed for bragging rights and unique trophies. This year the in addition to the usual trophies, this year we are adding $500 prize money to the top two finishers.

The championship is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society and supervised by the Dallas Kosher. We’ll have a celebrity MC and judges, and there will be many more attractions for kids and adults to ensure a great time.

To fill out your team registration online, please visit the Team Entry Form page. A pdf form may also be downloaded for submittal via USPS.

An acknowledgement email of your team registration and a link to the Team Ingredient Request form will be emailed, when your team entry form is submitted and payment is made.
